Day FORTY I stopped at Lowes to pick up paint, a deep nap roller, and ceiling "popcorn effect" acoustical texture. Special olympics put a big dent in the day, but it was very worthwhile. I got home, had some dinner, and then attacked the basement ceiling. That texture crap is almost as big a pain in the butt as the drywall sanding! My floor is covered in little piles of texture paint, and this is going to be an awful cleanup when it dries. I also need to scrape the junk off the walls before I paint it, but that should nt be so hard. The texture did hide some of the ceiling imperfections, but not 100%. A fun experience though.
