Day ONE HUNDRED AND NINE Well, the break is over, have to wrap up this project at some point, and the only things left to do are the floor and the trim and the closet doors. Today, I will lay the vinyl floor. I had originally wanted carpet, but that is just too damn expensive for a basement. I then was going to go with vinyl floor from Home Depot, at either 69 cents per square foot, or 39 cents. Until I stopped at Lowes and found a similar vinyl flooring for only 28 cents a square. Bargain! note: I bought 6 boxes and it took exactly 5 boxes to do the floor, exactly! So I get to return the sixth box and get some money back.
